PITTSBURGH – The Panthers Ticket Office announced today that Pitt women’s soccer single game tickets are now on sale for all home games at Ambrose Urbanic Field. Tickets can be purchased online here.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance for $5 per game or purchased on gameday for $8 at the Petersen Sports Complex Ticket Office. Season tickets are also still available for only $40.
Group ticket packages for groups of 15 or more are available for $3 per ticket. Group tickets are only available for purchase online leading up to the match. No group tickets will be sold on match day. While admission will not be free for those attending in youth jerseys, group rates can be offered for those in jerseys. This applies to only those wearing jerseys, not to any guests with them.
Pitt will play the first of nine home regular season contests at Ambrose Urbanic Field on Thursday, August 25 when it hosts UMass for a 5 p.m. tilt. The Panthers host their first ACC opponent on Thursday, September 22 in a 6 p.m. matchup with Miami. Pitt closes out the regular season with three-straight home games, including showdowns against defending national champion Florida State (Sunday, October 23; 1 p.m.) and 2021 NCAA tournament qualifier Clemson (Thursday, October 27; 7 p.m.). Roc the Royal
All fans are encouraged to wear blue, and official Roc the Royal shirts will be available at the Pitt Merch Stand.
The Panthers unofficially kick off the 2022 campaign this week with a pair of exhibition games against regional rivals. Pitt will visit West Virginia on Thursday (August 11) in a 3 p.m. contest, then play host to Penn State on Sunday (August 14). Admission is free to Sunday’s 1 p.m. matchup against the Nittany Lions, and the team will be signing autographs on the field after the game.
Under the leadership of fifth-year head coach Randy Waldrum, Pitt is coming off its second-straight 11-win season in 2021, finishing 11-7 overall with a 4-6 ACC mark. It returns a bulk of its 2021 squad that outscored its competition 41-22, including leading scorer and Third Team All-ACC senior forward Amanda West and junior Emily Yaple, who scored 10 and five goals, respectively. Sophomore Sarah Schupansky returns after a stellar freshman season that saw her finish second on the team in goals (7) and assists (6). Senior Landy Mertz returns for her senior campaign after leading the squad in assists with seven a season ago.
