55 former players — that’s something that Michigan football can boast when it comes to sending players to the NFL.
NFL training camp is underway, with the preseason having officially kicked off this week. With the season is still a month away, of course, not all 55 former Wolverines will make an active roster. But, for the moment, they all have a shot.
Still, a vast majority will make it. Most have seen major action in the league, but there are several players getting another chance — such as Channing Stribling and Lavert Hill — while others who went undrafted are getting their first shot — like Daylen Baldwin and Donovan Jeter.
Plus, several moved around. While you might have thought of Jabrill Peppers being a starter for the Giants, think again — he’s now a Patriot. And, he’s not the only one who’s found a new team either in the offseason or even in recent days.
With the exception of Mo Hurst, whose training camp injury likely has him out for the season, here’s every former player who wore a winged helmet currently in NFL training camp, and what team they’re currently suiting up for.
