The second season of the Legends League Cricket is all set to begin in September this year. After a successful first season, LLC 2 is also expected to create some noise. A tournament featuring all the retired cricketers brings nostalgia to 90s cricket fans and that is the reason it was launched. The tournament will get bigger with four teams competing in the second edition rather than three teams.
Retired cricketers from across the globe have registered their names and are all set to take part in the league when it starts in September. Former India cricketer Gautam Gambhir is also said to join LLC 2. The former India opener who represented the country in 242 international games across formats is confirmed to have joined the league. He is the latest Indian cricketer to register his name. A few days ago, Sourav Ganguly confirmed that he will play in LLC 2.
Apart from these two, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Sreesanth, Pravin Tambe, Virender Sehwag, Pragyan Ojha, and many others have already registered their names. Overseas legends like Dale Steyn, Muttiah Muralitharan, Mitchell Johnson, and Jacques Kallis have also given their names for the second edition of the tournament.
A total of 54 players have registered so far for LLC 2.
